Liberte Template Documentation – GeneratePress Site Library

Liberte is a GeneratePress site template for freelancers, bloggers, writers or anyone who has a story to tell. It used GeneratePress Theme (Free), GP Premium and Elementor Page Builder (Free).


1. Import Template

First, you need to activate Site Library Module in GP Premium.

Next, import Liberte Template, See how to import GeneratePress Template in GeneratePress Site Library.

2. Header

Header includes: Site Title & Menu

Site Title

Appearance > Customize > Site Identity



Appearance > Menus > Main (Primary Menu) > Select

Menu used Hover Effect, you can edit at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS > Line 108 – Line 110

3. Homepage

Open Homepage > Click Edit with Elementor

Click dots icon (right arrow) to change background color

Click windows icon (left arrow) to change background image

To edit “Tell your story”: Hover on Text > Click Pencil Icon, or Right Click on Text > Edit Heading

Do similar with other sections!

With Recent Writing, Hover > Click Pencil Icon > Look left > Edit Content or Edit Border (Advanced Tab)

This theme used WP Show Posts plugin to show Posts on Homepage. So you need to to WP Show Posts Screen to edit!

WP Show Posts > Latest > Edit


You will see settings


To edit Subscribe Section > Hover > Click Pencil Icon

4. Responsive Editing

Elementor allow you to edit website on Tablet and Phone. Just click PC Icon > Click Tablet, Mobile or Desktop

and Edit!


Then click Update to Save. Or click Eye icon to Preview.

5. Copyright Text

Appearance > Customize > Layout > Footer > Copyright


6. Post Categories

Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog > Content (Archives) – Featured Images (Archives) – Location – Alignment


7. Single Post

Post Layout

Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog > Content (Single) – Features Image (Single)


and Appearance > Elements > Post Layout


Author Box

Appearance > Elements > Author Box


7. Contact Page

Hover > Click Pencil Icon

Look left > Edit

8. Colors & Typography

With pages not edited with Elementor, you can change colors & typography at Appearance > Customize > Colors, Typography.
