GeneratePress Rumour Template Documentation

Rumour is a dark template style news/magazine layout blog with minimal CSS. It uses GeneratePress Theme (Free) and GP Premium.

1. Install Template

First, you need to activate Site Library Module in GP Premium.

2. Header

Header has Site Title, Navigation and Search Icon

Site Title

Appearance > Customize > Site Identity

Navigation

Appearance > Menus

To disable Sticky Navigation, Appearance > Customize > Layout > Sticky Navigation – Off

To edit Sticky Navigation Shadow, Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS > Line 01 – Line 04

Search Icon

Appearance > Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation > Navigation Search

3. Footer

Footer has Copyright and Footer Widgets

Copyright

Appearance > Customize > Layout > Footer > Copyright

Footer Widgets

Appearance > Widgets  > Footer Widget 1

Footer Widget is hidden on HOMEPAGE, Appearance > Elements > Hide Footer Widget on Front Page

Footer use also some code in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS > Line 95 – 116

4. Homepage

Hero

Hero has Featured Posts (2 Posts) and About Text

Edit About Text at Appearance > Elements > Home Hero

Edit About Text Border Top/Bottom, Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS > Line 15 – Line 20

Edit Featured Posts at WP Show Posts > Home Hero

New Posts

First, Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog

  • Content – Archives: Content Type, Excerpt word count
  • Featured Images – Archives: Display featured images, Location, Alignment

Next, Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS > Line 32 – 46 & Line 52 – 73

Final, Appearance > Elements > Entry Meta

Sidebar

Appearance > Widgets > Right Sidebar

Edit Widget Button, Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS > Line 84 – 89

5. Posts

Same as Home New Posts

6. Colors & Typography

Site Background

Appearance > Customize > Colors > Body > Background Color

Site Content Background (Post Content, Page Content..)

Appearance > Customize > Colors > Content > Background

Header Background

Appearance > Customize > Colors > Primary > Background

Footer Background
